#Let’s Talk Money Week is an annual campaign that encourages open conversations about personal finance, money management, and financial well-being.

At Derventio we support residents to talk about money with personalised budgeting support delivered by housing staff and through our recent Multiply project - which gave participants the responsibility of learning to manage their own personal finances by using diaries to document their spending each day.

Find out some top tips to talk money here: https://www.moneyhelper.org.uk/en/family-and-care/talk-money/talk-money-week

Today is #NationalStressAwarenessDay - an opportunity to think about the effects of stress on us and how we can manage the feelings of being stressed.
Stress can make people feel overwhelmed, anxious, irritable, or confused. It can also affect our physical health by raising blood pressure and causing heart and other health related problems.

There are many activities people can do to help them relax and reduce stress, including:
• Going for a walk
• Enjoying time in nature
• Engaging in a hobby
• Cooking or baking

A group of Derventio residents have taken their first steps towards becoming more digitally confident, thanks to a course supported by Digital Support Derbyshire and delivered by @Althaus Digital.

The session focused on building essential digital skills on using mobile phones - the most used digital device by participants.

Sessions covered topics such as using email, browsing safely, creating documents and accessing online services through apps. Designed to be inclusive and hands-on, the course helped participants grow in confidence and discover just how much their phones could do.

Thanks to @Althaus for carrying out the session and Digital Support Derbyshire for the funding. Without your assistance we wouldn’t have been able to provide these valuable sessions.
