NFU spreads Christmas cheer to once homeless residents in Warwickshire
Christmas spirit has arrived in abundance for residents of Derventio Housing Trust, bringing joy and connection to people who might otherwise face a lonely festive season.
The team at the NFU in Stratford-upon-Avon has thoughtfully and generously assembled lavish boxes of festive treats, ensuring that every resident of Derventio’s supported housing feels included in the holiday magic we enjoy.
Derventio Housing Trust currently provides accommodation to more than 60 individuals in Warwickshire, many of whom grapple with mental health challenges and the emotional strain the season can bring. For those estranged from family or struggling to rebuild their lives, Christmas can often be a time of isolation rather than celebration.
The NFU team have generously put together boxes full of festive treats to help provide some Christmas cheer to Derventio Housing Trust residents who often end up spending the day alone and hungry.
This is the second year in a row that NFU has chosen to support Derventio over Christmas, making a meaningful difference to the lives of people facing homelessness and other significant challenges.
