95% of residents would recommend Derventio

Nearly 200 people living in Derventio’s supported housing completed the latest annual satisfaction survey – revealing that 95% would recommend Derventio to family and friends and 89% are satisfied with the service on the whole.

Each year we ask residents what they think about everything from staff to repairs to value for money. 38% of residents completed the survey this year. We will use the results to help shape the service and make improvements wherever we can.

As well as commenting on specific parts of the service, the survey also gives people the chance to share their achievements and positive changes they have made whilst living in their Derventio home. The comments show that many people are using the security and support to build their skills and make positive changes:

Better financially, not drinking or taking drugs, more confident and ready for independent living

I am debt free and getting all my appropriate benefits

Meeting new friends, keeping hold of my job

More organised, feel safe and I have the support I need

We will soon be reporting back to residents with a summary of the results and an overview of the changes we are making based on their comments and suggestions.
