Growing Lives Tutor / Supervisor (full time)

This role is to lead and supervise teams of participants and ensure individual and activity risk assessments are considered, and healthy and safe work practices are adhered to at all times.

You will be required to work on the Growing Lives project which aims to Support, Participate, Assets, Resilience, Knowledge (SPARK) disadvantaged people into taking control of their lives and become positive and active members of their communities. An ability to work on your own initiative as well as working well as part of a team is essential.

This role includes providing a range of activities and workshop sessions to an agreed timetable including: horticulture, furniture up-cycling, arts & crafts, creative writing,
relaxation and wellbeing, cooking and healthy eating, are just to name a few!

The successful applicant will need to be prepared to use Company vehicles to assist in transport of participants to and from pick up locations.

• This is a full-time post at 40 hours per week.

• A valid driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
• Milage paid for journeys on work business.
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing to 33 at one years’ service, and additional service increments.
