Kind Christmas donations from the community

We’ve had some fabulous support from the local community over the festive period.

Staff from Shacklocks, the solicitors and investment advisors, made a generous Christmas donation to Derventio for the fifth year running.

Staff from the company’s four branches put together six boxes of Christmas goodies which will be shared amongst the people living in our supported housing. They also gave a box of crafting supplies which will keep people at our Growing Lives busy well into 2022.

We were also delighted to receive a van load of Christmas gifts, food and toiletries all put together by students at The Ripley Academy. Students heard first-hand how Christmas is a difficult time for homeless people when they marked 10 years of giving by holding their annual festive hamper donation. This year one student seized the initiative and asked local companies for donations.
