Derventio Housing Trust publishes Annual Report 2024–25, highlighting impact for over 1,000 people
Derventio Housing Trust has published its Annual Report for 2024–25, showcasing a year of support, growth and life changing impact for people facing homelessness and housing insecurity.
Over the past year, Derventio supported more than 1,000 people across the Midlands and South West, providing safe accommodation alongside personalised support to help people rebuild their lives and move towards independence.
The report highlights the breadth of Derventio’s work, from supported housing and rough sleeping services to specialist projects focused on health, wellbeing, skills and financial resilience. Resident feedback remained strong, with 87% satisfied with the overall service and 94% saying they would recommend Derventio to others.
Key highlights from the year include:
- 1,178 people supported in Derventio’s supported housing, with 70% moving closer to their personal goals
- Significant health improvements through Healthy Futures, including a 71% reduction in hospital admissions and NHS savings of over £80,000
- 183 people receiving practical help through Sylvester’s Fund to support independence and wellbeing
- Growing Lives helping people build confidence, reduce isolation and take steps towards training and employment
The report also shares powerful personal stories from residents, illustrating the real difference secure housing and compassionate support can make. From people moving into their first stable home to rebuilding confidence after years of hardship, these stories sit at the heart of Derventio’s work.
Alongside service impact, the report reflects strong financial health and a continued commitment to investing in communities, partnerships and staff development.
Looking ahead, Derventio will focus on maintaining high standards, responding to changes in supported housing regulation and strengthening community and corporate partnerships to meet rising need.
