Christmas treats for every resident thanks to amazing community support

Everybody living in Derventio Housing Trust accommodation has received a Christmas hamper after a fantastic response to our Christmas appeal.

We work with more than 600 people in the Midlands and South West, and we teamed up with award-winning gifting company Colleague Box to create special Christmas hampers.

The idea behind the appeal was to make sure that residents living in Derventio supported housing – many of whom may not see any family at Christmas, and have many challenges in life including struggles with mental health – could experience some of the magic of the festive season.

Individuals and businesses donated over £5,000 as well as lots of Christmas treats and goodies – and festive hampers were hand-delivered to every resident in time for Christmas Day.

We were blown away by the support and want to say a huge thank you to all of the individuals and businesses who contributed, including Colleague Box, The Ripley Academy, Flint Bishop, NFU Mutual, Warwickshire & Solihull CAVA, Shacklocks, Midland Lead, Costco, Tesco, Morrisons and Asda.
