Responding to the rise in homelessness

The number of people sleeping rough in England has increased by 15% annually according to new government figures, with a 73% rise over the past three years. Visit Homeless Link for an analysis of the new figures.

Derventio Housing Trust is here to not only provide housing, but to offer other services and support to prevent homelessness and help people to escape the negative spiral of homelessness, unemployment and poor health.

Safe and Supported Housing

We provide accommodation for people facing homelessness. Each resident is supported to take positive steps to improve their situation and achieve their goals.

Steps to Training and Employment

Our employability projects boost opportunities for people who face the biggest barriers into the labour market - opening doors for training, volunteering and employment in their area.

Bridge Between Hospital and Home

Healthy Futures supports hospital patients with their housing needs and overall quality of life, preventing repeat admissions and promoting better health and wellbeing.

One-to-One Advice and Support

Support Coaches go the extra mile to help people in our supported accommodation to maintain their accommodation, navigate the benefits system and get help from other services.

Building Skills and Confidence

Growing Lives provides a range of activities and opportunities to support people to develop their self-confidence, gain new skills and improve their mental and physical health.
