How We Help

Growing Lives

Growing Lives LogoGrowing Lives is an engaging programme of learning and support that has been specially designed for people who are unemployed and need a skills and confidence boost.

There are plenty of learning activities for people to get involved in, including arts & crafts, cooking and even growing and planting in our urban garden.

Everyone who takes part will benefit from:

  • One to one mentoring and support
  • More confidence
  • New friends and opportunities

The ultimate goal of Growing Lives is to support the most excluded and isolated people to build the skills and tools they need to make long-term changes to their lives, empowering them to set and pursue their own personal goals and reach their potential.

Growing Lives is based at Orchard Works in the heart of Ilkeston.
